If a pupil bumps their head whilst at school, we will follow the NHS advice contained in the document below.
We will always try to speak to the child's parent/carer to ensure they are aware of what has happened and can continue to follow the NHS advice once school has finished for the day. If we cannot make contact with a parent/carer we will endeavour to leave a message.
Additionally, we will make a note of the incident on the child's school record (held in Bromcom), as well as the communication we have had with the child's parent/carer.
